WHAT IS A DOULA?

A birth doula is a compassionate guide who offers emotional, physical, and spiritual support throughout the sacred journey of birth. As your doula, I hold space for you to connect deeply with your body, your baby, and your innate wisdom. Through gentle guidance, grounding presence, and nurturing care, I help create a calm, empowered, and loving atmosphere—allowing you to move through birth with confidence, trust, and connection.

WHY HAVE A DOULA?

Having a doula by your side can bring comfort, confidence, and calm to your birthing experience. A doula offers continuous emotional support, practical guidance, and gentle reassurance—helping you navigate pregnancy and birth with clarity and ease.

Studies show that having a doula can lead to more positive birth outcomes, but beyond that, it’s about feeling seen, heard, and supported. With a doula’s steady presence, you can focus on what truly matters: trusting your body, your baby, and the sacred process of birth.

Studies show women who receive continuous support from a doula:

  • are 60% less likely to have a cesarean delivery

  • experience an increased likelihood of vaginal births by 15%

  • often have shorter labor durations

  • have increased free movement during labor

  • have a reduced need for interventions (e.g. epidurals, oxytocin augmentation)

  • have an enhanced overall satisfaction and a more positive birth experience

  • have a higher likelihood of breastfeeding initiation
